America is one of the most out of shape countries on the planet, yet we are the ones that come up with more exercise equipment than anyone else. There are some really great products out there that actually work and then there are some that sadly do not. One piece of equipment that falls more under the poorly made concept rather than poorly made product and that is the Vibro Power Belt. This brain child idea is one of those As seen on TV gimmicks.

What this genius piece of equipment is supposed to do is, it is a belt that vibrates the fat from your abs as you sit, walk or do the dishes. The major problem with this is, IT DOES NOT WORK. How are vibrating abs going to get you in shape? The concept itself is laughable. You only see thin people in the commercials to give you the illusions that they do work. Then when they have an overweight person wearing it they say “I can feel it working” of course you can, you feel it vibrating on your abs but you don’t feel like you have gotten a work out.

There have been similar products that give your abs an electric shock almost to help you lose weight but if you have a pacemaker you can’t use these products. The only way to get great abs is by physically working them. Not by standing around washing dishes. So this is product falls into the poorly made product and that is putting it nicely.
